First Ride out With Triumph Solent Club Sarum Airfield What a Great Start to the Season

What a great turn out for the first ride out for this year!

Oh my goodness didn't it seem like a long Winter! I thought this day was never going to come. Just like Motogp and my allotment all waiting for Spring.

Being it is the first ride out of the season I concentrated mainly on the bikes with my piccies, so many new bikes with same riders and all gorgeous too.

So lovely to see that so many riders had made it out today, everyone so keen to get riding on their bikes and enjoy the company of this fabulous club.

And so clean and shiny, all of the owners you could see had cleaned their bikes ready for them to be admired by others.

So the photo above is of Mike and Steve. Mike on the left is the pack leader and he devotes his time to ensuring that we all have a great ride.

Antony above with his new mojo....

Bob & Carol on their lovely bike. Bob roped everyone in to ordering their t-shirts, me reluctantly because they were pink! But our 'Bob' has a persuasive way of getting his own way!

Love this bike, new member I think, I didn't get the chance to speak to him today, maybe next time....

Lovely little Mandy and my hubby having a good old chinwag...

Oh gosh, remembering names is not my forte, Terry and Malcolm on the left not sure of the other two's names although I have I think met them before....

Really pleased to see Pete out with the group although again didn't find time to chat, maybe next time....

So, Mike begins the day with a little talk about where we are going and what he expects from his pack....
(Some may be to busy catching up with friends!)

Who's missing?

Hold up! This bike above looks awesome! That's the one for me!

Love this bike too...

Well, I suppose if your son is getting married that has to be the ideal excuse! Very much missed Alvin and Debbie... and of course all the others that were unable to meet up today.

So, after a good old chinwag wer'e off. Ready for a lovely ride out in the sunshine.

Bit nippy, but just about ok.

Roads were quite clear and the ride was pure bliss. Hadn't been on the bike with the club since last year and it was a wonderful feeling being out with freinds and just enjoying the freedom that the bike manages to give.

Just love the english countryside....

Lots to see at Sarum airfield!

Everyone having a fab time...

And blow me if we didn't bump into hubbies boss! Least said about that the better!

On the way home as you can see the traffic was absolutely awful!

And then things got better....

And finally thank you to you my hubby, great ride.....

So thats it for this week folks, very tired, 190 piccies taken and I spent a length of time going through them and trying to not offend anyone by not adding them to my blog! The videos have been downloaded but your guess is as good as mine as to whether they will actually play, something to do with the length of the video I think.

And lastly, thanks to Mike and Jackie for a fab day.

On returning home we went up to the allotment too, so absolutely shattered now, but hey would rather be shattered than wondering what others may be doing.

Have a great week folks and look forward to seeing you all again next week.

Keep your eyes peeled for my next blog......

So I have been told....
