Second Triumph RAT Club Ride Out of the Season and What a Success

What a cracking day for a rideout with the Triumph RAT Club

Hi folks, well what a cracking sunny and warm day, even when we met at the car park the sun was shining and it wasn't cold at all a first for me not to have my waterproof jacket on to keep me warm before we set off.

Smiles all round in the sunshine....

All the riders today are different from the riders last week, except for hubby and I, amazing....

Lovely to see this guy out again, tried to hang up his boots, but once a biker always a biker....

And away we go, first stop Havant for the Lord Mayor of Havant Classic Vehicle Run, an event that is held every year and the first visit for me.

Don't you just love the english countryside when the weather is good! When the sun shines it puts a totally different light on our lovely country.

And we arrive, to meet up with other members of the Triumph RAT Club some who were taking part in the actual procession. What a lovely surprise to see so many lovely old vintage motorbikes and cars.

Unfortunately, I have not included the cars in my blog the only reason being that the time it takes me in downloading them is not available to me and I have so many lovely pictures of the day I have to be selective.

New bike for one proud new owner....

I think hubby quite likes the feel of this harley.....

BSA love it....

Hubby will like the Suzuki....

Told you didn't I......

I'm a great fan of the sidecar, I remember as a kid with my two brothers and my sister touring Europe with my dad riding a BSA with a sidecar and us all in it, I was very young but I vaguely remember the journey, hence my true passion for motorbiking and motorbikes.

Just had to show this crash helmet that one of our members wears, Rossi is with us on our rideouts!

Looks like Mike likes this one....

I just love the BSA's......

Eye, eye me and hubby....

Love this couple on their bike, dressed for the occasion.....

And away we go, next stop Lasham airfield near Basingstoke for lunch.

The linseed fields are looking fab today....

Roads are clear at this point in the trip...

This one was taken with me holding the camera pointing it backwards and holding it against my crash helmet then clicking, not bad for not being able to actually see whats behind me as I'm looking forward.

Love these types of pictures, just a group of friends having a great ride in the lovely countryside....

Regrouping....

And off we go....

Having a well earned break after a lovely rideout.....

What a great day....

And if it weren't for this geezer I wouldn't have the opportunity to take all the lovely pictures I have taken. 220 this time, so difficult to pick and choose the ones to use.

Next ride out Classic Motor hub at Bibury Airfield, Cotswolds weather permitting on 30th April, meeting at Lysse Path Car Park, Fareham for a 9am departure, hope you can make it.

All thats left for me to say is thanks to Mike and Jackie for a truly wonderful day and that said I look forward to seeing who turns up for the next rideout.

Keep your eyes peeled for my next blog on Wheelie Wednesday with pictures of Valentino Rossi and other bikers and a roundup of the Motogp news on the web.

Until later.....

Ride safe.
