Rideout on a Mystery Tour With the Triumph Solent Club

What a fab day and what a fab turnout!

So, today was particularly special for me and my hubby, 34 years on and wer'e as happy together as we could possibly be. Ok stop yawning! So the little lot above have embraced us even though we don't ride a Triumph. Their friendship is so valuable to my hubby and I, why, no pressure, we are so interested in motorbikes and riding the kinship has developed from there.

And this guy, my hubby introduced me to motorbikes 38 years ago, the first time we went out I had no motorbike gear and loaned my brother's crash helmet and his Belstaff jacket and jeans I must add as I didn't possess trousers only skirts and dresses.

He has and continues to open my eyes to the big wide world out there. The motorbike has given me such a wonderful life and I would encourage any young lady out there looking for romance to go for a biker.

You may think nah, all they care about is their bikes, but you would be so far from the truth. A biker needs a pillion girlfriend or wife it makes the ride so much more interesting (my opinion of course!)

I want to touch on intercoms between rider and pillion and please remember that this is me just speaking aloud on my anniversary and after a couple of vinos.

I really don't get it.

My hubby loves to ride his bike, and chatting is a no go on the bike. Me, well I really want to drift away in my own little world thinking about nothing and I just don't get the benefit of an intercom. Please enlighten me folks....

When we get home from being out on the bike the first thing we do is have a cuppa and talk about the day, the experience, having an intercom you chat along the way.

Only me, but I prefer to chat when off the bike.

Leaving it there, here are the picture book memories of a fab day with folk on a warm and sunny day riding.....

So our hosts for the day were Steve and Tim and a good job they did too...

Now the guy with coffee in hand sorted out our new T-shirts for the club and they fit hubby and I lovely, thank you very much....

Having a good old chinwag.....

Now the picture above, I was showing Jackie how to use my camera...

So we started off from Loomies, favourite bike meet for many bikers...

And wer'e off....

25 bikes..... Excellent turnout....

The countryside in the UK looked especially lovely today...

Now what was happening here then in the picture below...

Oh you do look pucker in your new T-shirt, I like them big you know.....

I love the thatched cottages....

When I win the lottery I'm going to have one in France and all my biker friends and family are gonna visit....

And who's this laying off.....

Well, wer'e sorry we upset your day, this lady had a face like thunder when we went down the lane...

And we were all riding carefully.

Well, I suppose the benefits of your camera being exhausted due to me forgetting to charge the thing after our rideout to Windsor is that I used my phone this time and it gives me the option of taking piccies backwords if you get what I mean....

Coffee break...

Tractors, don't you just love them, I'm going to have one in my place in France and it's going to be yellow!!!

More like minded bikers we passed....

More bikers different group.... (Are you following my blog?)

Now this was interesting, this is the street the hovis advert was filmed on, took the piccy from the top but was told by some energetic members of the club that they walked to the bottom and back up again, well done them....

Not fairing to badly me thinks after 34 years!

Saying farewell is not something I do....

I hope you like the piccies, we had a fab day.

One day when wer'e all old and grey my blog may mean more to us than me just taking piccies.

Thanks for making our 34th wedding anniversary so special...

Ride safe, until next time....

Just a little reminder of a really good day (reposted today)
