What a week Wheelie Wednesday is here

Wow! You lot have sent me some great pictures this week! Thank you.....

Hi folks, hope you have all had a great week so far!

I just can't believe the photo's that I have to share with you this week, there all fab, I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do.

I'm so glad that I decided to add to my blog other pictures not just wheelies, there really all so different and make me smile.

Not long now until the next Motogp, I just can't wait to see what is going to happen in this years race and start searching around the web to see what is being said about the riders and the bikes.

So, my week so far has been pretty productive to say the least.

We finished painting the fence! Hallalujah!

16 panels, 2 gates, 2 coats both sides! By the end of it I was crying! Such a tedious job to do.

That said once I have put my garden back together again and pots back where they should be etc I know that I will be thrilled with the end result.

So very relieved that it is finished.

At the weekend hubby and I made a trip to the store Moto legends, have you heard of it?

Well, I want to share with you our experience.

It was pouring with rain on Saturday so we set off to the store at about 11. As you know we have a tour coming up to France and hubby definitely needs a new waterproof jacket, so, the aim was to get one at Moto legends.

We had been to the store before, many years ago when all that was there was a desk and a guy who took your order, no stock, just a brochure, you picked what you wanted and they would go back out in the warehouse and get what you wanted to try. Easy peasy, no sales technique at all, you tried and buyed.

How things have changed.....

So we arrived at about 12.30 I think. Parked the car and approached the shop, you had to press a door bell and someone came to the door to let you in to the warehouse.

When you walked into the warehouse, shop what ever you want to call it, the first thing that catches your eye is the motorcycle in the centre of the store, on it's centre stand and I think dominating the surroundings. (I found out later that this is here so that you can sit on the bike with your new gear on to check for comfort.)

At each side of the store there is a variety of different motorcycle gear including jackets, crash helmets, jeans, and an array of items all shouting out buy me!

The other thing I noticed when I first walked into the shop was that it wasn't cluttered, the owner had obviously limited what was on show.

Which brings me nicely on to the greeting from the I think owner 'Chris' , I'm pressuming he was the owner because he was so confident and had this certain flair and look at me way about him.

Very attentive, ensuring that he knew exactly what it was that we were looking for and paying particular attention to hubby, in fact I wasn't quite sure if hubby was quite ready for the attention that was given as normally we browse first and then try.

Slightly different at this store, offered coffee on arrival which was much appreciated, although, hubby didn't get a chance to drink his because Chris was already getting hubby to try on jackets.

Once he had chosen the one that he liked hubby thought he should try on the bottoms to match, well, in fact 'Chris' insisted that he should try on the bottoms!

I was starting to feel a little uncomfortable, I felt that we were being pushed into buying the bottoms.

Hubby being hubby I knew that he wouldn't buy anything that he didn't want too. However when it came to the crunch, Chris even turned round and said that he would rather we went away and thought about it rather than just buy the jacket!

I really couldn't believe what I was hearing!

If the bottoms had looked right then hubby would have brought them, but seriously, they really didn't look right.

So, Chris pushed a little harder, and being such an attentive guy it was difficult to say no to him. Next,he had hubby trying on jeans.

These too, were to tight, but Chris tried to ensure hubby that they weren't to tight!

This is when I could see that time had run out for Chris, no way was hubby going to be told that something was right when he knew different!

So hubby turned to Chris after getting dressed back into his shorts (it was hot
in the shop) and then said to him that he would take the jacket only.

We had been in the shop for 2 1/2 hours!

We brought the jacket and finally after 2 1/2 hours left the store.

So, our overall experience, well, I would recommend visiting the store, I would recommend sticking to your guns with what budget you have and I would recommend not being pushed into buying other products.

There you have it, my week so far, pretty challenging me thinks!

Thank you all for your pictures, please share my blog with others, and keep them coming, all of your posts are a real pleasure to share....

Ride safe until next time....
