Staying at Biarritz for a Rest Before Riding to Vaas France

Hi Folks,

Hope all's well with you and yours.

I don't know about you lovely lot but I am certainly starting to miss riding  our motorbike. Too cold for me!

Writing on my blog is a much better idea for me when it's so cold!

Continuing our tour through France and down to Spain.

So after a day of rain and finally arriving back at the site, time for a rest I thought from riding bikes for a few days was in order......

So, the guys thought it would be a great idea to hire out push bikes!!!

Really....

Now, the seats when we first started riding were quite comfey, by the end of the ride it was a totally different story...

All joking aside, it really was a refreshing break from the motorbike to ride push bikes, walk and just take in a bit of relaxing time.....

What a poser!!!

You would have thought that cycling it wouldn't be possible to get lost, but it seemed to me that hubby had the map out quite a lot of the time....

And again....

And again, lol.....

This place was quite special....

Take a look at the snaps taken whilst having a break from riding our bikes....

This place was called Port de CapBreton and what a surprise for us to find it was.....

Not sure what this bird is but was totally mesmerised by it, any ideas?

So I spent ages watching it.....

Hubby must be much fitter than me or maybe it was because I kept taking piccies that he seemed to always be waiting for me...

This path we were cycling went on and on and on....

Oh dear maps out again....

So after what seemed like a whole days riding on push bikes we finally found somewhere to stop and have lunch....

Lovely creperie, great food, and it was believe it or not biker friendly!

From there we continued cycling to the sea....

What a really lovely place....

Quite choppy but well worth the cycling.......

Finally we arrived back, legs aching and ready to chill.....

Meeting up again with our biker buddies we planned the rest of the trip or should I say hubby and Mike planned our onward journey, before we all  retired for a while around the poolside....

Yep, empty, can you believe it, everyone had gone home except it seemed for us!!!

Few glasses of vino, dinner and then on with our onward journey.....

I'll give you our reviews of all the b&b's and the site in another blog but for now all I'll say is that the site was really set up for the kids. My Brad would have loved it here.

Woah! Very windy at the seafront....

Ok, so rest over time to continue with our exploring France. Onward journey here we come.....

Beautiful morning to get going again, after off loading all our food and drink that we didn't manage to eat or drink to other campers we were ready to go on our merry way.

It's great looking back on trips we have done can't wait to see what hubby has planned for us both this year.

And finally just touching on Motogp and the riders, really missing the racing, seems like forever waiting for it to start again.

I wonder whatis going through Valentino Rossi's mind at the moment, I bet he's hoping Yamaha can pull it out of the bag this year.
I am...

Next up Vaas France.......

Ride safe all, until next time....
